I don’t negotiate, debate about I livity,

Rasta don’t convert ah one… or impose Zion
Who feels it, knows it,… it’s INI philosophy
For some the vision comes……as revelation, inna dream
Rastafari’s not for da blind,… it’s for the ones who want fi see
The more you fight against the Rastaman and Rasta Wombman….
It only makes I stronger and walk more militant.
I never overstand, dem talk love but in their actions
They hate the rastaman and yet dey love everything bout him
They love the image, love the music, love the ganja
Love the Rasta wombmen, love the dreadlocks, love the patios
They love the one love rhetoric, they love the rebellion
They love the island that the rasta movement originally come from
They love the red, gold and the green paraphernalia
Dem love fi act like rastaman, straight imitation
But before you turn ya back,…dem already ah talkin’
Love Rastaman so much come like dem jealous they can’t be one
And all the while, the Rastaman hold ah meditation
chant dem psalms and plant dem herbs inna dem garden
Study ourstory.. while we grow our vegetation
Honor Sellassie, Empress Menen, balance and creation
Love Afrika and reason bout repatriation
Have faith one day victory is onna the horizon
We light the chalice and we burn out wicked Babylon
Every now and then,… we sing a likkle song
And oh, I say…

Why…why is that those who aren’t Rastafari,
Why…always have something to say about INI

King Sellassie say that Misguided people…
H.I.M. say sometimes they create misguided ideas….
Like when selecta say dem spinning Roots and Kulcha…
Some think that it’s just music and not a lived experience
Or like the fool …who forgets the roots he comes from
And of the tree, he only praises fruit that fall down
Detach the body and the mind, from the spirit
You can’t detach the livity from those who really live it
Many.. don’t overstand the true origins of
Of what this movement stands for and what it upholds
Rastafari’s more than peace and love,… more than a religion
It’s Afrikan Liberation,… it’s Black Man Redemption

Why, why is that those who aren’t Rastafari,
